Majlis Al Falah Trust is embarking on the next crucial stage of its mission to aid those affected by the devastating earthquake in Morocco.
Majlis Al Falah trust is starting stage 2 of its projects where it is providing the following items for those affected by the earthquake and now open to the cold winter conditions. Majlis Al Falah trust travelled to Morocco on 2nd October to help with the earthquake relief efforts. During this time, we handed out mattresses, bedding, food packs, sanitary packs.
Morocco earthquake of 2023 was a severe earthquake that struck near the town of Oukaïmedene in western Morocco on September 8, 2023. More than 2,900 people were killed and 5,500 people injured. The earthquake heavily damaged parts of the Marrakech and devastated several remote settlements in the Atlas Mountains.
We have supplied and put up tents for families and will continue to do so. As winter approaches, the need for immediate assistance becomes even more pressing for the survivors enduring the aftermath of this natural disaster.

The Morocco earthquake of 2023 wrought unprecedented devastation, claiming the lives of over 2,900 individuals and affecting 5,500 others.
The destruction was widespread, particularly in the Atlas Mountains, where remote settlements were left in ruins.
