Support water projects by creating wells/water tank systems.Help us continue supporting this nation known to be the smiling coast of Africa
Due to floods in Gambia in 2022 we have increased our engagement with projects in the region.‘The flood impacts include destruction of houses, food stock, toilet facilities, and household items. The ongoing assessments have identified at least 47,104 people who are directly affected by the recent heavy downpours.’ ( IFRC, 8 Aug 2022)
Carrying out post project visits we have found great satisfaction and testimonials of the local communities with regard to the usage of the water tanks.We have already installed 3 water tanks in the Gambia and after a post project visit by trust members we saw the need for clean water to be a dire need of the communities and also saw many communities without access to clean and safe drinking water.
Due to floods and drought the country suffers from increased prices on food items and it can be very expensive for people to be able to feed their families well.Our packages have onions, flour, oil, spices, lentils, rice, blankets, sanitation and other basic essentials.We aim to help this region throughout the year due to the consistent levels of poverty seen, the difficult weather conditions, lack of water facilities and floods.

So we have decided to ramp up the water projects there by creating wells and more water tank systems.
We are also looking to fund the building and repair of a school complex in Gambia.
Upon one of the visits we came across a working active school and met staff and students in the institute and we found the school without windows or proper classroom families which can be seen in the pictures.
We spoke to the staff, teachers and students and found about the tough conditions of learning in this environment and the school closures due to bad weather conditions and the buildings being unsuitable.
Thousands left homeless, injured, traumatised. Help Support Turkiye now in their time of need.
