Ongoing food distribution several times a year in Uganda, Gambia, Tanzania and Kenya for the last few years due to increased drought leading to food shortages.
The need for clean and easy access to water is vital to prevent illnesses and maintain a healthy community and InshaAllah we aim to continue with water tank and well projects. During our visits and talking to communities in various countries in Africa we found water to be the biggest requirement due to ongoing droughts and hot weather.
In hot weather food prices increase and our food parcel distribution include packs with flour, onions, fufu, spices, oil, lentils and other basic essentials such as children's clothing, malaria kits, hot food distribution and hygiene kits.
Food distribution is carried out regularly in these countries who have been suffering a lot especially throughout the pandemic , post lockdown and with tough weather conditions.
