Majlis Al Falah Trust went over to help those affected by the devastating earthquake in Morocco in October 2023. Majlis Al Falah trust carried out projects in two stages where it is provided the following items mattresses, bedding, food packs, sanitary packs for those affected by the earthquake and now open to the cold winter conditions. During this time we have supplied and put up tents for families as winter approached, the need for immediate assistance became even more pressing for the survivors enduring the aftermath of this natural disaster.
Morocco earthquake of 2023 was a severe earthquake that struck near the town of Oukaïmedene in western Morocco on September 8, 2023. More than 2,900 people were killed and 5,500 people injured. The earthquake heavily damaged parts of the Marrakech and devastated several remote settlements in the Atlas Mountains. The destruction was widespread, particularly in the Atlas Mountains, where remote settlements were left in ruins.
