During our visits and talking to communities in various countries in Africa we found water to be the biggest requirement due to ongoing droughts and hot weather.
The distances to gather water for some communities is very far. There are many parts of India that have no access to water as it is far away or people have limited access to water which is polluted.
Therefore we have created water wells in India especially desert regions such Rajasthan, Mithe ke Kala, Gargaria, Jaselmir, Balmer, West Bengal, Birhum, Malda, Jharkhand, Sundarban, Jampur.
25 water wells dug and in used in various parts of Rajasthan which is a very dry and arid region.
Majlis AL Falah trust have also taken part in important projects in providing water filters and generators in many parts of India such as Islampur, District Jambusar, Kavi and Devla.
There are villages in India where we have placed water systems for drinking and sanitation.
3 Organisation members travelled to Somalia with Islamic relief where we created water wells, a large tank generator, and machinery for this water project which has the capacity to provide water for 10,000 people’s homes.
